Juan Carlos Corredor is a student in the Writing department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). He is a poet and art critic who strives to probe the cross sections of art and identity. He has worked for ARTWORKS Projects, Creative Time Reports, Bad at Sports Contemporary Art Podcast, and In These Times Magazine. Juan Carlos plans to attend graduate school, studying journalism and art history. He hopes to be involved with arts publications that consider the larger social contexts of art.
