Chance of severe thunderstorms in Chicago area Friday night, greater threat late Saturday

Severe thunderstorms could hit parts of the Chicago area Friday night and into early Saturday, especially south and near Interstate 80, with a more widespread chance of severe storms later Saturday, forecasters said.
