CHICAGO (CBS)– A bridge collapsed in Seneca, Illinois Monday night after flash flooding overnight.

Police said the bridge collapsed just before 11 p.m. on River Road.
A truck nearly fell into a creek while driving across the bridge. Emergency crews got the driver out safely.
Seneca police are alerting residents that River Road is closed and other streets remain “severely flooded.”
