CHICAGO (WGN) — A 5-year-old girl is missing two weeks after her biological mother picked her up from school, despite her grandmother having full custody, Chicago police said Wednesday.
Terianna Miller was last seen around noon in the 200 block of N. Lavergne in the city’s Austin neighborhood on Wednesday, Feb. 12, when her grandmother dropped her off for school. According to police, Terianna was abducted by her biological mother when she picked her up from school with consent from the grandmother.
Chicago police add that the biological mother is refusing to return Terianna and has since stopped taking the 5-year-old to school.
As of Wednesday, Feb. 26, police say the biological mother’s whereabouts are unknown.
Terianna was last seen wearing her school uniform, a light blue polo shirt, and dark blue pants. She stands 3 feet 6 inches, weighs 40 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair.
