CHICAGO — Authorities are responding to an incident in the lobby of the Dirksen Federal Building Tuesday morning involving a man.
A source within the building told WGN News Dirksen is not on lockdown and employees have been directed to avoid the lobby.
A federal law enforcement source said a man walked into the public side of the lobby asking to talk to several people. He then asked to speak with the FBI.
An FBI team is on the way to speak with the man, according to the source.
Dearborn is blocked off from Jackson to Adams. Jackson and Adams, from Clark to State, are also closed.
WGN News will update this story once more information becomes available.
